About

From Helper to Builder.

Guardian did not start as a painting company. It started as someone who shows up when people need him.

From Helper to Builder

In 2017, Sebastien started a safety consulting business with a clear vision. He built relationships, earned certifications, and established himself as a trusted expert. But life had other plans.

A pandemic pause in 2021 led to an unexpected turning point. A friend and long-time client asked for help: "Start a painting company, and I'll give you work." Sebastien said yes not because he wanted to paint houses, but because that's who he is: someone who shows up when people need him.

He didn't realize he was building a construction company.

In 2025, Sebastien made a decision: Stop acting like this is temporary. Own what you've built.

Today Guardian is a 15-person crew of painters and finish carpenters working across Moncton and the surrounding region, and Seb still trains fall protection as a certified 3M trainer.

Mission

To deliver exceptional painting, finishing, and specialty carpentry services through an integrated, cross-trained crew dedicated to quality, client care, and job-site efficiency.

Vision

To evolve from a premier finishing specialist into a full-service general contractor. Building a resilient, employee-centric company capable of managing full-scale construction projects from the ground up.

Our goals

  • Delivering exceptional craftsmanship that exceeds expectations
  • Genuinely helping our clients solve their construction needs
  • Taking care of our team through fair pay, transparent communication, and real career development
  • Working innovatively, combining trades and processes to deliver better results faster
  • Building trust through action, one project, one relationship at a time

The falcon

Why a falcon.

The falcon represents precision, focus, vigilance, and protection, reflecting Guardian's commitment to careful planning, quality workmanship, attention to detail, and protecting the client's investment. Its forward motion also symbolizes progress, ambition, and moving projects forward.

Guarding Quality. Building Trust.

The team

White shirts paint.
Black shirts finish.

Fifteen people including part-timers, two finish carpenters among them. The colour of the shirt tells a GC who is doing what from across the site; the cross-training means it can change by the afternoon.

Core values

The Values that ground us, Integrity in Action.

We believe trust is earned, not given. Every decision we make from how we price our work to how we treat our team is guided by integrity. We're transparent about what we can deliver, honest about our limitations, and committed to doing the right thing even when it's harder. Our clients know we won't cut corners or oversell services. Our team knows we'll have honest conversations about pay, growth, and expectations. In an industry where handshake deals matter, we make sure our actions match our words. That's how we build relationships that last.

  • Integrity
  • Protection
  • Precision
  • Transparency
  • Dependability
